Art is more than an aesthetic, art is energetic. Art is a beautiful invitation to go beneath the surface. Art is a vehicle of the subconscious. The appreciation of art is not rational, but rather experiential. It is instinctive in our nature. Art is of the heart. It is mean to be felt.

Everyone discusses my art and pretends to understand, as if it were necessary to understand when it is simply necessary to love.

As a collector I appreciate Tom's art and the investment, we commissioned a series for the hotel and for our home.

Bruce Schultz, Art Buyer for Ritz-Carlton,Chicago

Tom paints faces and figures to capture emotion in composition and color. "Tears" is an abstract of an eye, closed in resolve.

Tom's paintings have a very unique quality. They are vivid, textural and luminous. They are large in scale. Beyond the physical and obvious, there is a deeper intention and power. They are emotive and evoke a desire for more, deeper meaning and connection. They awaken in us a desire to live more passionately. Awake.

Tom paints in a flow state, a fluid state of consciousness. He paints to capture the beauty of the natural world, and of human nature. It is an expansive state of freedom.

All religions, arts and sciences are branches of the same tree. These aspirations are directed toward ennobling man's life, lifting it from mere physical existence and leading the individual towards freedom.

Art is more than a financial investment, it is a belief in the artist.  Tom's inherent ability to compose an image,

his use of color, contrast, and space are exceptional. I purchased several of his paintings - a diverse collection.

Art is not a thing, it is a way.

Elbert Hubbard

A female figure is layered in sessions of paint. She reclines breathing life to the Earth, appearing as pure abstraction.

I am mesmerized by the intricacies of the painting. There is an organic complexity to the surface texture. It is exquisite!
